Description: A Cardiologist is a medical doctor specializing in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases of the heart and blood vessels, also known as the cardiovascular system. They assess patients, interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, and may perform procedures like catheterizations or prescribe medications.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
3 to 7 years’ internship and clinical residency training, specializing in cardiology.
Successful completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
Certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiology and/or a sub specialty, such as cardiovascular disease, or interventional cardiology.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Outstanding hand-eye coordination.
Wonderful bedside manner.
Excellent communicator who can empathize with patients.
