Greeting visitors: Receptionists welcome visitors and customers, determine their needs, and direct them to the appropriate people.
Answering phone calls: Receptionists answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
Managing mail: Receptionists receive, sort, and distribute correspondence.
Maintaining security: Receptionists may assist with maintaining security by following safety procedures and controlling access.
Scheduling meetings: Secretaries and receptionists update calendars and schedule meetings.
Managing finances: Secretaries may keep updated records of office expenses and costs.
Ensuring cleanliness: Receptionists ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior administrative or clerical experience preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
