Description
welcoming, directing and announcing patients appropriately and professionally. Assist patients with completion of patient information forms. Enter patient details and procedures accurately on the computer. Scanning documents into the system, i.e. referral letters, medical aid cards etc.
Requirements
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and medical law
Understanding of medical terminology
Experience with administrative and accounting procedures
Familiarity with databases and spreadsheets (especially MS Excel)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Communication skills with a problem-solving attitude
