Description: Prepare patients: Explain the procedure and answer questions
Prepare exam rooms: Set up the equipment and ensure its working properly
Position patients: Ensure patients are positioned correctly for imaging
Operate equipment: Use ultrasound equipment to create images
Analyze images: Review images for quality and abnormalities
Communicate results: Provide a summary of findings to physicians
Record findings: Keep track of patients records
Maintain equipment: Perform daily maintenance and report equipment failures
Assess quality: Perform quality assessments
Skills
Strong technical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to explain technical terms clearly
Good eyesight and attention to detail
Analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills
Physical strength to lift patients and move heavy equipment
Ability to maintain prolonged arm positions

Requirements: An associates or bachelors degree in sonography.
An industry certification and state license may be advantageous.
Strong technical, communication, interpersonal, and patient service skills.
The ability to explain technical terms in a clear and understandable way.
Good eyesight and attention to detail.
Strong analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills.
