Description
Our clinic seeks a Medical Secretary to perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties to ensure efficient operations of our practice. In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for patients, verifying that insurance and patient information is correct and processing payments. You will also coordinate physician schedules and appointments, produce correspondence, and generate accurate reports. Our ideal candidate has familiarity with medical terminology, some experience in a medical office environment, and excellent organizational skills.
Requirements
Experience with electronic medical records.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience as a medical secretary.
Degree from approved medical administrative program or equivalent.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
