Description
Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising kitchen staff.
Food Quality and Safety:
Ensuring food is prepared and stored correctly, adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Inventory and Ordering:
Managing inventory, ordering food supplies and kitchen equipment, and tracking waste.
Menu Development and Cost Control:
Collaborating with chefs to develop menus, setting menu prices, and controlling food costs.
Operational Efficiency:
Overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow, and managing equipment maintenance.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Restaurant Management or certification from culinary school is required.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations.
Ability to work well in a stressful and fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict management abilities.
Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
