- Diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing issues in people of all ages.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Work with patients to improve their ability to communicate by teaching correct sound production, facial muscle use, and understanding/responding to others.
- Requirements
- Masters degree in speech therapy or speech-language pathology.
Relevant license and certification.
Experience with certain disorders and age groups may be required.
Sound understanding of speech-related disorders and treatments.
