Description: Occupational therapists evaluate and treat people who have injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. They help clients meet goals to develop, recover, improve, and maintain skills needed for daily living and working.

Requirements: Bachelor degree
Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION:
A Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or 3 years Diploma in Occupational Therapy (Full-time studies)
with relevant course in specialty area.

EXPERIENCE
Must have experience working in a hospital setting.
Minimum: 5 years of clinical experience as licensed or registered Occupational Therapist of which 3 years in area of specialty.
Preferred: 7 years of clinical experience as licensed or registered Occupational Therapist of which 5 years in area of specialty.
OTs experience in areas of specialty such as:
• Alzheimers & Dementia
• Adult
• Geriatrics
• Hand therapy
• Home Care
• Neurology
• Pediatric
• Long term care
• Post- acute
• all other areas not listed.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Fluent in English.
