Description: Nurses plan and provide medical and nursing care to patients in hospital, at home or in other settings who are suffering from chronic or acute physical or mental ill health. A caring and compassionate nature, and the ability to deal with emotionally charged and pressured situations are important traits of a nurse.

Requirements: Delivering safe, comprehensive and effective evidence-based nursing care in a professional and accountable manner to achieve desirable results.
Assisting specialists in surgical and non-surgical treatments
Liaising with patients both pre and post consultation and treatment
Providing patient care post surgical and non-surgical treatment
Liaising with patients as first point of contact regarding their care.
Providing treatments & products to patients.
Providing regular follow up with patients to ensure continuity of care.
Committing to the development of a culture that supports and values each team member

Selection Criteria

Essential:

Bachelor of Nursing qualification or equivalent.
Current Registration with Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Nurse – Registered Nurse (HAAD)
Previous experience in a medical practice.
Effective communication skills with patients, visitors and staff.
Sound knowledge of medical terminology.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Committed to excellent nursing care and continuous improvement.
A professional and friendly manner.
A proactive, co-operative and enthusiastic approach to all responsibilities.
Ability to prioritise and have excellent attention to detail.
Availability to work rotating rosters
Excellent presentation.
