- Description
- The Neonatal Consultant will participate in the clinical care of babies at the Womens, especially those in NICU, and will participate
in the education, training, research and administrative activities of Neonatal Services as agreed with
the Director (Medical). The Neonatal Consultant will participate in quality assurance and accreditation
activities as required, will pursue personal professional development and will participate as a member
of the multidisciplinary team of Neonatal Services
- Requirements
- A medical degree in neonatology and the successful completion of a residency and fellowship.
A license and certification to practice neonatology.
A willingness to work long hours and remain on-call for emergency situations.
The ability to work under pressure and stress.
Strong communication skills and patience and empathy towards patients and their families.
Strong dedication and motivation for helping newborn infants.
