- Dermal Therapists perform laser and light-based procedures as well as chemical peels, advanced facials, micro-dermabrasion, skin needling and other facial therapies. They also advise clients on which products to use to treat skin issues, including chronic skin conditions like acne, pigmentation or rosacea.
- Requirements
- Edical Degree with specialization in Dermatology.
Completion of all three parts of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam.
Completion of a 3-year dermatology residency.
Attainment of a medical license.
Proficiency with dermatological tools such as comedone extractors, lancet extractors, and cryogens.
