- Clinical pathologists perform or oversee tests on blood, tissue samples, and other body fluids. They may also be in charge of a hospitals blood bank, collecting and processing blood and blood products.
- Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Clinical Pathology.
Valid medical license and board certification in Clinical Pathology.
Proven experience working in a clinical laboratory setting.
Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, diagnostic procedures, and pathology.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare providers and laboratory staff.
