Description: A Biomedical Engineer applies engineering principles to design, develop, and test medical devices and equipment, such as artificial organs, prosthetics, and diagnostic instruments, by collaborating with medical professionals to solve healthcare problems, including researching new materials and procedures, conducting clinical trials, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medical technology within healthcare facilities; often requiring the ability to install, maintain, and train others on the proper use of biomedical equipment.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, biomedical science, or a related field.
Professional Licensed Engineer (P.E.) with the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
Proven experience working within the field of biomedical engineering.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Great eye for design and the technical ability to transform designs into products.
