Description: assist in establishing a clients requirements and undertake feasibility studies to ensure their proposals will work
prepare and analyse project costings for tenders, such as materials, quantities, labour and time
prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client
negotiate contracts and work schedules
allocate work to subcontractors and oversee their work at all stages of the construction
perform risk, value management and cost control during construction
undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
advise on a procurement strategy
identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks
provide advice on contractual claims and disputes
analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports
value completed work, oversee bills and arrange payments
maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use
understand the implications of health and safety regulations.

Requirements: Responsible for take-off quantities trough drawings & specifications for pre-contract and post contract works
Preparation of B.O.Qs, Bills of Materials , Material re-conciliation reports
Float the inquiries to the subcontractors / suppliers & preparation of comparison statements for the finalization & other purposes
Preparation of sub-contractors agreements according to the FIDIC 87/99 conditions of contracts for sub-contract works
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil/Electrical Engineering
Should have thorough knowledge of Standard Method of Measurements such as POMI, CESMM-3, and SMM-7
Should have thorough knowledge of FIDIC - 87 / 99 conditions of contracts
Minimum 8 years experience in quantity surveying
Solid computer skills are required EXCEL, MS WORD and related quantity surveying and estimation softwares (such as CCS-candy system / Timber line / Everest)
