- We are looking for Furniture Carpenter urgently.
JOB PURPOSE:
You will be responsible for the assembly of kitchen, bedroom and bathroom furniture, to customer specification, ensuring to meet all quality standards.
DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
• Installing wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists and stud work. Designing and installing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall and insulation. Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closure
• Assembly of Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom Units,
• Cleaning and maintaining work areas and machinery,
• Ensuring you adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures.
• KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Job Type: Full-time
- Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience
Previous experience in a Factory Environment is an advantage
Have experience using hand and machine tools
Ability to read measurements
Ability to perform tasks within health and safety guidelines
Experience in working to tight deadlines
Experience of working in a team with ability to use own initiative and work independently
Attention to detail Excellent Time and Attendance Record
Able to work additional shifts as and when required.
