- Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet, assist and direct visitors.
Gather and log data into Excel spreadsheets
Answer multiple telephone lines and give out routine information.
Answer all inquiries from visitors, potential businesses, etc... Be ableto tell them about Broken Bow and the surrounding areas.
Check details on documents, reports, forms, newsletters, entry forms,and brochures for accuracy and completeness.
Assist in ordering office supplies, maintaining the office equipment,ordering brochures and keeping the office well supplied.
Make soliciting phone calls and write soliciting letters.
Assist the Director and Chamber Board of Directors with all eventsand meetings.
Will compose, deliver and/or mail all types of letters, includingmembership correspondence.
Use the computer to enter and retrieve data and conduct research.
Deliver and pick-up various materials, run errands and pick up lunchAssist in the recruiting of new members and follow-up with existingmembers.
Assist with the promoting of all Chamber programs and activitiesthrough the media.
Type press releasesDesign and layout flyers, information lists, and brochures.
Assist in maintaining the appearance of the building and office.
Be able to lift boxes of brochures that could weigh up to 25 lbs.
Move tables and chairs to set up for meetings and chamber luncheon.
Mail out tourist information.
Keep websites up to date.
Maintain calendar of events and event listings on other websites.
Perform other related duties as required.
Clean office and bathrooms weekly.
Complete quarterly newsletter.
Minimum Qualifications: Must have the skills and ability tocommunicate effectively and properly both verbally and in writing. Allapplicants must have computer and typing skills. Must be proficient inMicro Soft Word, Publisher, and Excel. Individual should be detailorientated, have organizational skills, and possess a pleasant personality.
