Description: We have an immediate opening for an experienced Phlebotomist. Our lab experiences high volumes of patients of all ages, so you must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. On a daily basis, you will review appointment lists, prepare your draw station, greet patients and lead them to your station, and gather all samples requested by the patient’s health care provider. You must also make sure to label all vials and containers properly for transportation to the testing lab. We prefer candidates who have at least one year of phlebotomy experience, but we are willing to train the right person.

Ability to use computers to enter information
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to connect with various types of patients (such as children, elderly, pregnant women) and make them feel comfortable
Patience and presence of mind
