Description: Assessment:
Evaluating a clients condition, medical history, and performance in daily tasks.
Treatment Planning:
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that include specific activities to help clients achieve their goals.
Rehabilitation:
Helping clients relearn or improve skills for daily living, such as dressing, eating, or bathing.
Adaptive Techniques:
Teaching clients how to use adaptive equipment and techniques to compensate for limitations.
Environmental Modifications:
Assessing and recommending modifications to homes, schools, or workplaces to improve accessibility and safety.
Education:
Educating clients, their families, and caregivers about the clients condition, treatment plan, and strategies for promoting independence.
Documentation:
Recording and reporting on clients progress and treatment outcomes.

Requirements: A bachelors degree in occupational therapy from a university certified by the ACOTE (Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education) or AOTA (American -Occupational Therapy Association).
Certified by the National Board for Certification.
Compliant with state healthcare regulatory requirements.
Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs.
