- Most microbiologists work on research teams with other scientists and technicians. Microbiologists study microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, algae, fungi, and some types of parasites. They try to understand how these organisms live, grow, and interact with their environments.
The position is full time Sunday - Thursday with a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
- Requirements
- Degree in microbiology or biochemistry or related (essential).
2 years of experience as a microbiologist (essential).
Ability to plan and execute experimental protocols.
Excellent knowledge of electron microscopes, electronic equipment, chemical samples, and stains and weighing equipment.
