Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Hearing Aid Technician to join our audiology team. As a Hearing Aid Technician, you will be responsible for assisting audiologists in the fitting, maintenance, and repair of hearing aids and related devices. This role requires a strong understanding of hearing aid technology, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to improving the quality of life for individuals with hearing impairments. In this position, you will work closely with patients to ensure their hearing aids are functioning properly and are tailored to their specific needs. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, performing routine maintenance, and educating patients on the proper use and care of their devices. Your ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with patients of all ages is essential.

Responsibilities:

Assist audiologists in fitting and programming hearing aids
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hearing devices
Educate patients on hearing aid use and care
Conduct hearing aid performance checks and diagnostics
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Order and manage hearing aid parts and supplies.

Requirements: Have a high school diploma or GED.
Strong knowledge of audiology principles, hearing assessment techniques, and hearing aid technology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
Ability to empathize with clients and provide emotional support throughout the hearing aid evaluation and fitting process.
Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and software to conduct hearing tests and program hearing aids.
