Description: A Hearing Aid Specialist is responsible for evaluating, fitting, and dispensing hearing aids to individuals with hearing impairments. They play a crucial role in helping individuals improve their quality of life by addressing their hearing loss. The Hearing Aid Specialist works closely with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences, and then provides customized solutions to enhance their hearing capabilities. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and technical expertise in audiology and hearing aid technology.

Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Audiology or a related field.
State licensure or certification as a Hearing Aid Specialist.
Previous experience in conducting hearing evaluations and fitting hearing aids is preferred.
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing the practice of hearing aid dispensing.
Proficiency in using audiometric equipment and software for hearing testing and hearing aid programming.
