Description: position offers the opportunity to interact first-hand with a vast range of patients and assist in managing a clinical practice. Responsibilities include: Verifying and reviewing patient medical histories. Assisting during examinations, preparing laboratory specimens, and performing basic laboratory tests.

Requirements: The minimum qualifications for an ENT assistant include a master’s degree in a physician assistant program. After graduation, you have to obtain your assistant license. All US states require licensure for you to practice. The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants is the organization that administers the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination. To maintain your physician’s assistant license, you must do 100 hours of continuing education every two years. Once you complete your degree and obtain your license, you can choose to pursue additional education to specialize as an ENT. Strong communication skills are also essential.
