- Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and manage a wide range of respiratory and pulmonary conditions, including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, tuberculosis, sleep disorders, and lung infections.
Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests such as spirometry, chest X-rays, CT scans, and sleep studies.
Manage ventilated patients in ICU settings and provide critical care support as needed.
Perform bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and other pulmonary procedures.
Develop personalized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including intensivists, radiologists, and primary care physicians.
Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
Maintain thorough and accurate medical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
