Description: We are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technician to join our team. The Anesthesia Technician provides technical support in the operating room, including anesthesia equipment setup and maintenance, assistance with patient preparation, and assistance with anesthesia administration. The Anesthesia Technician works closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other medical personnel to ensure the safe and effective delivery of anesthesia services.

Anesthesia Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

-Set up, operate, and maintain anesthesia equipment according to hospital standards and regulations
-Prepare and check anesthesia equipment prior to use
-Assist in the preparation of patient for surgery, including monitoring vital signs and preparing the operating room
-Assist with the administration of anesthesia according to the instructions of the anesthesiologist
-Monitor patient during and after surgery for adverse reactions to anesthesia.

Requirements: Proficient understanding of the use and maintenance of anesthesia equipment
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain composure in high-pressure environments
Completion of an accredited Anesthesia Technology program
