Description: An Acupuncture Specialist, also known as an Acupuncturist, is a healthcare professional who diagnoses and treats patients by inserting thin needles into specific points on the body, based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), to balance energy flow (“qi“) and promote healing for a range of conditions, often including pain management, stress, anxiety, digestive issues, and more; they may also incorporate other modalities like herbal remedies, dietary advice, and lifestyle modifications as part of a holistic treatment plan.

Requirements: Accreditation as an acupuncturist.
License to practice acupuncture.
