Description: An English Teacher in Bamenda would typically plan and deliver lessons, assess student progress, and communicate with parents. They would also be responsible for developing students oral and written communication skills, including grammar, vocabulary, literature, and various writing styles.

Requirements: Qualifications:

• Native English Speaker, effective communicator, TOEFL Certification a plus
• Secondary School teaching certification from North America, Australia/New Zealand, South Africa, or United Kingdom (other countries may be considered)
• 2+ years teaching experience
• Belief in importance of inquiry based and experiential learning
• Enthusiastic, outgoing nature
• Ability to work in a team
• Enthusiasm for new cultures and experiences
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Flexibility
Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits package includes a monthly housing allowance and an annual round-trip international air ticket to home of record. Regional medical health insurance is included, excluding USA coverage. School will sponsor a work visa for successful candidates.
